Samsung India has launched three types of smart phones in three different platforms such as android, BADA and windows phone. In this way the Samsung has announced the release of the other Samsung smart phone named Samsung Galaxy Y.
This Samsung Galaxy Y is powered by the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread version of operating System. The price of this mobile device is around Rs 7830/- including the taxes and subsides. This device is very well designed and this appearance is very awesome when compared to other Android entry level phones. This mobile is made up of highly finished goods. The back of the mobile is made up of matt finish materials that avoid the fingerprint issue. This mobile uses the 1200 mAh battery which provides longer battery stand by time.
The device response is very good when compared with the other Android entry level phones.
Samsung Galaxy Y also uses the TW4 launcher that is similar to the 2011 Galaxy Android series that even includes the Samsung Galaxy S II.
This mobile consists of the 3 inches QVGA display. Even though the mobile is the QVGA display this mobile offer the clear and sharp images. The display quality is very fine. The phone is surrounded by the Chrome coating in the outside border. The left side of the mobile consists of the volume adjusting keys and in the right side of the device consists of the button that is the power on/ off or the lock button. The mobile also comes with the two capacitive touch buttons in the front side of the mobile that comes along with the physical home key that is also made up of matt finished material. This mobile also consists of the covered micro USB port and also comes with the 3.5 mm headset jack. These are present at the top of the phone. The bottom of the phone is left plain without any parts.
This Samsung Galaxy Y is featured with the 2 mega pixel rear camera. This phone does not contain the LED flash and also lacks the speaker grill. This mobile supports the 3G connectivity but lacks the front facing camera.
