Nokia s40 mobiles do not have the facility of minimizing an application in the background when trying to access the another feature in the mobile phone.The s60 mobiles have this functionality of minimizing j2me applications which the s40 mobiles lack.It is not possible to run background midlets in s60 mobiles.But by using the below simple method you can minimize an s40 application without closing it and open it again.Open an application and Just press the VOLUME+ key and hold it for few seconds.now it will be minimized in the background.
