Samsung India has launched three types of smart phones in three different platforms such as android, BADA and windows phone. In this way the Samsung has announced the release of the other Samsung phone named Samsung wave 3.
The Samsung Wave 3 is the best and the latest flagship model that is being released by the Samsung that is operating in the BADA operating system. The price of this valuable mobile phone is nearly Rs. 19600/- including the taxes and other subsides. BADA OS is going to be announced as the open source in the year of 2012. This mobile phone comes with the removable battery. The battery cover should be pushed upwards to remove the battery from the device. This feature of the removable battery is one of the great advantages than other unibody design mobile phones. This mobile uses the 1500 mAh battery that gives longer stand by time to the users. This Samsung Wave 3 is made up of the aluminium including the battery door. The battery door comes with the brushed metallic finish. Only the top and bottom of the mobile phone is made up of plastic where as the else parts are made up of aluminium. This is similar to the Samsung wave and Samsung wave 2. The key structure and arrangements are similar to that of the normal Samsung phones. The volume adjusting keys are present on the left side of the device. The power or the lock key is present in the right side of the device. This mobile lacks the camera shutter key. This Samsung Wave 3 is featured with the 5 mega pixel rear camera with the auto focus facility. This is also accompanied with the LED flash and the speaker grill. This mobile also consists of the micro USB port and the 3.5 mm headset jack in the bottom of the device. The front of the phone is similar to that of the previous wave phones of Samsung. There is a physical home key and also comes with the menu and return on screen keys.
The Samsung Wave 3 uses the super AMOLED 4 inches display that is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S I9000. This is the major difference between the Samsung wave 3 and other wave mobiles. The display is very bright and awesome. This comes with the capacitive touch screen that is quiet responsive. This also supports the multi touch facility. The display seems to be better than that of the Samsung Galaxy S. The super AMOLED display that is being used in this Samsung wave 3 seems to be very bright and better than other models.
Samsung wave 3 is the first BADA flagship that runs on a BADA 2.0 version. This operating system is very fine and has quick responses. The overall response time is very little less than a second that increases the speed of access to any applications. In the BADA 2.0 version the Samsung has improved the multi tasking facility. This provides easy access to know what applications are running at the current time and that can be killed manually by the user that increases the response time. The ChatOn application is available in this BADA 2.0 operating system version. The BADA 2.0 version uses the TW4 in a slightly modified way. Thus this looks similar to the TW4 that is being running in the Samsung Galaxy S II. This also allows the native UMTS video call capability as that are found in the Wave and Wave 2 of the Samsung. This native UMTS video call is facilitated by the presence of the front facing camera that is available in the Samsung wave 3 mobile phone.
